In the Aruban civil aviation registry there are registered national airlines, large to small private and corporate jets, and several rotor aircraft which are based worldwide. The Aruban registry is increasingly being used for the registration of commercial operated aircraft.
At our Miami Office we will review and process all documentation for the registration, certification and inspection of the aircraft operated outside Aruba, applications for Flight Crew and Mechanic license validations, and Maintenance Facilities. The creation of the Aruba A.V.V. Company, required to
be formed for the registration of the aircraft, is completed directly through any Trust Services Incorporator or Law Firm in Aruba.
An airworthiness inspection consists of a review of the aircraft condition and its technical documentation to verify all relevant continuing airworthiness aspects are up-to-date and correct. The technical documentation would include but not be limited to the flight manual, logbooks, airworthiness directives,
scheduled maintenance completion, life limited parts and airworthiness limitations, and weight and balance. The AMC-012 provides a complete list of aircraft records required to be presented to the Department of Civil Aviation of Aruba (DCA) airworthiness inspector on site.
The timeframe to register an aircraft in Aruba is approximately 2 to 3 business days after the airworthiness inspection is completed as long as all the necessary documentation is satisfactory upon receipt. All requirements can be submitted via e-mail or fax as long as
the documents are legible.
To make proper arrangements for the airworthiness inspection of the aircraft, the following eight (8) preliminary items are required to be submitted well in advance:
- Provide formal request including aircraft location and dates of the airworthiness inspection; aircraft serial number and model; and information requested on item no. 2.
- Provide three (3) options for out of sequence registration marks after prefix P4- followed by any combination of three (3) letters.
