After a long battle, the German Business Aviation Association (GBAA), is proud to announce that Dr. Schaefer (GBAA Lawyer) has recently won a remarkable lawsuit: The Court has ruled that companies using an aircraft for non-AOC charter have the right to reclaim any previously paid fuel tax and for the future, to enjoy tax free refuelling on production of a certificate to demonstrate non-AOC commercial usage.
As this can represent significant sums of money, we would recommend our Members operating such flights to check immediately if this might be applicable to them.
