ICAO Cape Town Convention and Aircraft Equipment Protocol

On July 3rd, 2009 the Council of Ministers for the Kingdom of the Netherlands has agreed to ratify for Aruba the ICAO Cape Town Convention and Aircraft Equipment Protocol. The ratification date is expect it in the next coming month and will be made public by the Land Aruba upon its confirmation.
This important mile stone will facilitate the recordation of the security interest on mobile assets and will give all financial institutions additional assurances when financing or leasing an register in Aruba.
