1995
First aircraft to be registered under the new public private aircraft registry scheme, P4-TBN a Boeing B707 under operator TBN Aircraft Aruba AVV
In 1996 the Registry of Aruba was granted the by the FAA, Category 1 rating under the International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) program.
1996
Oscar Whyte of Coastal Oil registers P4-AMO, BAC 1 under the Aruba Registry
1999
Qatar Airways & the Gulf Falcon Group originally had their aircraft registered through Aruba, gaining them international access.
P4-MED, known as The Flying Hospital, was the largest fully equipped airborne medical facility ever built.
2000
An ICAO 83bis agreement was executed between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Aruba.
2002
Air Astana, established in 2001, is the National Airline of Kazakhstan, and began operation of regular flights on May 15th, 2002, with the help of Aruba.
Russia joined the growing list of countries that we signed ICAO 83bis agreements with, allowing Russian aircraft owners & operators to register in Aruba.
2006
Aruba ratified & implemented the ICAO Cape Town Convention & its protocol, becoming the first offshore registry signatory of the convention.
2009
Renewed our agreement with Government of Aruba and confirmed our ties to each other and our commitment to our family of clients.
2010
Aruba issued the first VIP operations AOC to Comlux Aruba, pioneering the AOC charter on-demand trend that is booming in the industry today. Registering a VVIP configured B767, P4-CLA.
2011
A.R.M.S., the first online aircraft management registry system, creating an electronic system to register aircraft and track their documentation.
2012
Implemented strategically located inspectors, eliminating unnecessary aircraft downtime, that have a practical approach to problem-solving.
2013
Crystal AirCruises, operated by Comlux Aruba, registered the world’s first commercial VVIP casino-configured 777-200 LR.
