Welcome to 4WARD, 2023! Last year, The Registry of Aruba got 4WARD off the ground with stories about innovations - major and minor - in aviation and beyond to encourage each other to strive for progress, not perfection. This year, we want to highlight the ways in which our industry is engaging with local communities to bring sustainable change in our own neighborhoods. We know that the wellness of our planet isn’t a closed system; it impacts and influences everything in our lives. So partnering with our worldwide network in the STEM and aviation industries is only a part of the story. We also need to partner with those in our city, neighborhood, and office building to make changes.

In this issue of 4WARD, you’ll read about how we teamed up with Clean Miami Beach to clean our city’s beautiful shoreline. You’ll also read about local initiatives by Lynden Air Cargo and Bombardier to engage with and improve their communities in measurable ways. It has been incredible to see what we can accomplish for our planet and each other when we use the resources we have – our time, our network, and our own hands – to rebuild a sustainable planet and generate change.
